The V Congreso de Ingeniería Espacial, organized by the Comité del Espacio del Instituto de la Ingeniería de España (IIE), is a biennial forum that brings together the Spanish space community to discuss the latest developments, challenges, and future prospects of the space industry.
This year's edition, taking place from June 11th to 13th in Madrid, was an engaging event filled with talks, workshops, and roundtables covering a wide range of topics. The congress aims to promote contact and development of space engineering, increase social interest especially among youth and women, convey the scope, impact, and contribution of space engineering to stakeholders and society, and foster the improvement of space-related education and research.
By involving youth in determining the future direction of space policy and exploration, the event aligns with the United Nations' vision of space exploration as an inter-generational pursuit essential for building a better future for humanity.
